    Facebook Post that Bothered Me

    My uncle posted this on Facebook and it bothered me. Here is the image and my response. What do you guys think, readers-mine? The issue I have with that statement is that America has never had one language. We are a landmass that was settled by Native Americans with their many languages first, then we had Vikings, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, and French who all settled here before our nation was one nation. Then those people brought in African slaves with all of their many languages.     On Long Absences and Things that Make Me Smile…

    I realized the other day that I hadn’t posted here for round about five months.  This made me a touch sad.  Then, I realized why I hadn’t posted, and that made me happy.  So, then, obviously, I needed to post about it. 😛 I’ve been writing a LOT.  I did another class through Gotham.  This helped me figure out why my prologue was making me annoyed enough that I wanted to hurl it’s digital pages into a tornado and watch them spin and then be crushed by a flying cow or tractor or something else large and heavy.  That solved, things are flowing again and I think this may be…

    In response to a question I received…

    I listen to music to hear the worlds and my characters.   *The pic is a link to the site where I got it (a place called Junkaria.com.)* I was asked if I write to music, in coffee houses, or in a room locked away in silence.  This is my answer: Depending on the day I write with blasting music, soft music, or no sound at all.
