    To NaNo or not to NaNo, that is the question…

    As you know, if you followed this blog last year and saw the little image that said I did NaNo last year, I did in fact, choose to NaNo. This year, I’m using NaNo and tweaking it to my own purposes. First, let me explain what I’m doing this month. 1. I traveled to see my little sister in MA.2. I’m working on all sorts of things for the trilogy-now-a-series.3.     NaNoWriMo, Bronchitis, and Sisters

    So, NaNoWriMo is winding down. I still have a lot of words to write. Why do I have a lot of words left to write? I have bronchitis. It’s a good time really. I sleep a LOT. I drink so many fluids that I feel like I should float, but I don’t. I’m still dehydrated. What’s with that really? I’m doing better now at this point. I still cough like coughing is going out of style and like it will be the last cough of my life. But I’m no longer contagious and I’m getting better to the point where I went and sat in a movie theatre to watch…

    Accomplishments and goals

    So, one thing that I try to impress upon my students and my tutees is that their education is up to them. That their goals are their responsibility to accomplish. I make the kids I tutor write a goals assignment and even make a poster and put it up in their room to remind them every day of what they need to do. It seems to be helping. My goals this week were to learn my name in Japanese and to complete the content writing I was doing for a website. I managed to accomplish both.
