Accomplishments and goals

So, one thing that I try to impress upon my students and my tutees is that their education is up to them. That their goals are their responsibility to accomplish. I make the kids I tutor write a goals assignment and even make a poster and put it up in their room to remind them every day of what they need to do. It seems to be helping.

My goals this week were to learn my name in Japanese and to complete the content writing I was doing for a website. I managed to accomplish both. My next goal is another 1000+ words for NaNoWriMo tonight. We’ll see how I do. Wish me luck.
