    Howard Philips Lovecraft (20 August 1890-15 March 1937) was the creator of the Cthulhu Mythos, a writer of weird fiction, and a master of horror. He wrote for pulp magazines and focused in on the idea of where humanity fits into the universe, a genre that has come to be known as cosmic horror.     I do want to make it known that neither the book nor the HBO show are for children in any way. Both are created for adults who are critical thinkers and understand that fiction tells us the truths that are often too difficult to face in reality. It creates a space for us to be empathetic, to put ourselves in the shoes of people who live disparate lives, and to realize that, underneath it all, we are human beings who are more alike than we are different.

    Hello Again! Personal Notes and the Roller Coaster Known as 2020

    Hello, hello, readers-mine. A friend has asked me to start blogging again and I really rather enjoy designing websites, so I decided to create a brand new one. I've migrated all the old stuff over, so nothing should be missing, though I have found that some formatting got a little funky in the transfer from Blogger to Wordpress. That said, I love the clean lines on the new site.
