The Guardian and Writer’s Rules
Now, I never knew that there were rules to being a writer. I figured that the only rule was something along the lines of “Don’t start a sentence with a comma unless you’re super famous and are named something like James Joyce.” However, I found this to be an interesting set of “Writer’s Rules” from The Guardian. I have included links to the rules of the various authors who took part in the series. Some of the supposed “Rules” are wonderfully practical. Others are spectacularly poetic. Either way, you’ll find nuggets of truth.
