    Facebook Post that Bothered Me

    My uncle posted this on Facebook and it bothered me. Here is the image and my response. What do you guys think, readers-mine? The issue I have with that statement is that America has never had one language. We are a landmass that was settled by Native Americans with their many languages first, then we had Vikings, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, and French who all settled here before our nation was one nation. Then those people brought in African slaves with all of their many languages.     Chronicles of Elantra Fan Rant
