    Scrivener Update

    So, if you’ve been reading here for a while you’ve probably read about Scrivener on an occasion or three (1, 2, 3) and you know that I adore the program.  Guess what, folks?  Yep, you guessed right.  The update is even better!  I’ve been using the new version for about a month.  I wanted to give it a thorough testing before I reviewed it.  And yes, I still love it.  Since I love the update so much I’m writing a review.  Here’s a link to Scrivener 2.0.  I’m going to do a run down on some of the things that make me really happy about this new version.     A trip through the cloud…

    No, I don’t mean a legit cloud.  We are not talking cumulus, cirrus, nimbus, or stratus.  I am talking about the cloud of tags on the side there.  You see it, right?  The one on the right side of this page?  Yep, that one. I just did something I haven’t done in a while.  I randomly clicked somewhere in the cloud and read what came up.  It was an interesting experience.  I found the first time I met Katherine (my Facebook daughter now) and said that she seemed like a rather nice sort.  I found funerals.  I found Ren Faire.  I found the cutest foreign exchange student ever.  Reflections on…

    People Who Have Influenced My Writing

    So, while I was writing about Professor Dawe in my last post I started thinking about people who have influenced my writing, why they have, and how they have. I thought that I would list some people and explain.
