River Marked is book six of The Mercedes Thompson Series. Can I just start of by saying, check out that cover. I adore it. I think Mercy looks fabulous and the colours are perfect with the hint of blues in the jeans and earrings, splashes of hues in the tattoos, and the mixture of browns throughout. This book, is kicked off with a surprise wedding (betting is apparently a popular past time in Mercy’s family, whether you are a werewolf or a human). Silver Borne is book five in The Mercedes Thompson Series. This one is focused on Fae and Samuel. It starts out with Tad, Zee’s son and Mercy’s first wrench monkey, calling to ask if she’s spoken to Phin (the guy who loaned her the book on Fae back in Iron Kissed). She goes to investigate, but finds nothing except for an odd feeling that something’s off. Bone Crossed is the fourth of The Mercedes Thompson Series. It starts off with Mercy’s mom showing up when Adam’s over and then Stefan dropping into the middle of her living room flayed, starved, burned, and almost unrecognizable. He warns Mercy that Marsilia, his Mistress, knows about Mercy’s involvement in the death of one of her favourite vampires. He tells Mercy to run. Considering who Marsilia is, it’s something that gets considered.
