Bully

I think this looks like a good movie that everyone should watch.  I’m sad that the MPAA did not change the rating to PG-13.  I think it’s something that kids should see and if it stays rated R, they won’t be able to.  Here’s to hope schools will screen it anyhow.  The release date is supposed to be 30 March 2012.  There is a link to a petition to make the MPAA reconsider.  If you agree after watching this and reading some of the comments on the petition, sign it.

Here is the synopsis that they have released: The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Safe and Drug-Free Schools estimates that over 13 million American kids will be bullied this year, making it the most common form of violence experienced by young people in the nation.  In the new documentary BULLY, award-winning filmmaker Lee Hirsch (AMANDLA!
