Ylvis: Some of my favourites
So, I love “The Fox” by Ylvis, so I thought I’d look up other songs by them and share some of the amusing songs I’ve found. Fair warning, swearing makes these NSFW unless you have headphones. Talk about range of styles and sheer ridiculousness. Massachusetts made me nostalgic in the extreme (it’s in a different format because I had to download it from a Norwegian site as it’s not released in the US yet so far as I know). Thug Notes – Fahrenheit 451, The Hobbit, and Hamlet
While the language isn’t academic, the references and the analysis are solid. Made me laugh. Watch it. It’s totally worth it! Man I wish he didn’t say swear at all. I would totally use these for class is the language was a touch cleaner.
