    How it feels to write a novel

    From Flckr’s Jkim Writing books can be a long, difficult process that’s also filled with brilliant magical times.  This is, by far, the best way to explain how I feel sometimes while writing. It’s a weird thing, writing. Sometimes you can look out across what you’re writing, and it’s like looking out over a landscape on a glorious, clear summer’s day. You can see every leaf on every tree, and hear the birdsong, and you know where you’ll be going on your walk. And that’s wonderful. Sometimes it’s like driving through fog.     Fog and Sentences of Complete and Utter Awesomeness

    First, I would like to state: I love fog. I love the way it rolls across your path. I love the way it looks like it’s coming at you and then it feels like nothing. I love the fact that for a little while it is just me, myself, and I while everything fades away into it. I love the way it reminds me of London. I love how it reminds me of 3rd grade and playing tag in fog so thick we couldn’t see our own hands so we’d walk into each other and yell, “Tag! You’re it!” and then walk away much to the chagrin of whoever was…
